About the Primer
A DoctorsAI Primer is a focused academic orientation programme designed to introduce medical students, residents, and practising clinicians to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence in a practical, responsible, and clinically relevant way. In a medical institute, it aims to build foundational AI literacy, demystify key concepts such as machine learning, generative AI, ethics, and regulation, and help participants understand where AI can genuinely add value in healthcare, medical education, research, documentation, and patient care. The goal is not to turn doctors into data scientists, but to empower them to become informed, critical, and confident users of AI—able to recognise opportunities, understand limitations, use AI tools ethically, and prepare for the future of medicine with a strong emphasis on safety, accountability, and human-centred care.
Certificate
DoctorsAI Primer Participation certificate will be provided to all participants from The Indian College of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ICAIM) after successful completion of the 3 hours session.
